Firefighters keep car fire from spreading to home

Fire was reported before 2 p.m. today in Brush Prairie

Firefighters stopped a vehicle fire from spreading to a Brush Prairie home Tuesday.

Crews from Vancouver Fire Department and Clark County Fire District 3 responded to the passenger vehicle fire at about 1:40 p.m. The vehicle was parked next to a home in the 15000 block of Northeast 119th Street.

The vehicle sustained major damage, according to fire officials.

No one was injured.
