Letter: Republicans reinvent the facts

The Columbian
Published: November 20, 2014, 12:00am

After reading Robert Wassman’s Nov. 9 letter “Democrats disregard consequences,” I must admit Wassman has a very creative imagination in regards to what is good for our country and what is bad. He also appears to be very anti-labor. However, in Wassman’s defense, he is definitely entitled to his opinion as granted by the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

As for the facts that he makes reference to that he says are loved by the Republicans, are these actual facts or are they a just product of their imagination? It’s my opinion that they are the latter.

I really do not know how many political science classes that Wassman actually took in high school or college but I would suggest that it’s time for a refresher course. This refresher course may provide him with the knowledge to differentiate facts from fiction. I suggest that he place this item on the top of his bucket list.
