Washougal came back from an early deficit to defeat the Fort Vancouver Trappers as the game belonged to the Panthers’ Brandon Casteel.

Casteel finished with 397 yards rushing with four touchdowns — including seven carries that went for 20 or more yards — along with countless plays on defense as Washougal held Fort Vancouver to a single touchdown in the final three quarters.

The Trappers scored on their first three possessions, while forcing two turnovers the first two times the defense took the field, building a 21-6 lead after the first quarter.

However, Washougal scored 35 of the final 42 points, as Casteel helped carried the team to a victory.

Each Washougal quarterback, Kyron Carlson and Monte Georgianna, threw a touchdown.
