ROSEBURG, Ore. — A registered sex offender who lived outside a Walmart store in Roseburg was arrested after police learned he moved away from the parking lot.

Oregon law requires sex offenders to register a new address within 10 days. Those who lack a permanent address must provide specific information pertaining to the geographic location where they reside.

Police said 75-year-old Thomas Yegge registered his address at the Walmart parking lot and failed to report his new address

The Roseburg News-Review reports that Yegge was taken to the Douglas County Jail on Monday.
