Police have made three arrests in a string of vehicle prowls and burglaries hitting east Vancouver and the west side of Prune Hill in Camas.

The suspects, all of whom live in Vancouver, are allegedly connected to more than 50 cases of vehicle prowls, burglaries and identity theft recently sweeping across the area. The suspects — Curtis D. Grant, 21, Einor T. Santer, 19, and Rimany D. Samoeun, 30 — have each been charged with one count of identity theft, according to a press release from the Camas Police Department.

The suspects could face further allegations as the investigation continues, police said. The Vancouver Police neighborhood response team is helping with the investigation.

Police said the situation is a reminder for area residents to keep their homes and valuables secure. They urge that everyone keep their garages closed and doors, windows and vehicles locked when possible.
