Orchards — Tina Olson created The Chopper Fund to honor her dog, Chopper, after the dog’s death. The fund, which runs through the Humane Society for Southwest Washington, raises money for major medical expenses for shelter animals. On July 24, the fund organized the first ever Chasin’ For Chopper barrel racing event at the Clark County Saddle Club, raising nearly $6,000 for the foundation.
