Girls basketball: Young Stevenson team takes step in right direction against Hudson’s Bay

The future is bright for the Stevenson girls basketball team.

And on Saturday, the present wasn’t so bad either.

Freshman Toryi Midland scored 11 points and sophomore Amya St. Martin added 10 more as the Bulldogs beat Hudson’s Bay 50-25 in a non-league game Saturday at Bay.

“We’ve got some good young players,” Stevenson coach Bob McCrum.
