Jessica Flanagan had 17 points and 10 rebounds as the Beavers remained unbeaten in the 2A Greater St. Helens League.

Woodland (2-1, 2-0) jumped to a 23-9 halftime lead behind its defense.

“We rattled them early with our pressure and forced a lot of turnovers,” Woodland coach Glen Flanagan said. “Getting two league wins before the holiday break is really nice.”

Mark Morris clawed back in the second half, but Jessica Flanagan made five of six free throws in the fourth quarter to keep Woodland’s lead safe.

Dana Glovick added 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Libby Bartleson scored 14 points to lead Mark Morris (1-4, 0-1).
