Boys basketball: King’s Way Christian 60, La Center 48

Kienan Walter scored 26 points and Skyler Freeman added 15 as King’s Way Christian pulled away down the stretch to win a Trico League game.

“We forced them into 21 turnovers,” La Center coach Jeremy Ecklund said. “When you do that to a team, you have to like your chances. Unfortunately, we committed 19 ourselves.”

La Center kept close to the Knights, trailing by two points early in the fourth quarter before King’s Way pulled away.

Brody Seter hit 6 3-pointers for La Center to finish with 23 points. Dalton Morgan added 13.
