A new vice president of Transmission Planning and Asset Management is on the job for the Bonneville Power Administration.

Jeff Cook has started in his new role, in Vancouver, the company announced.

Cook brings more than two decades in the utility industry to the position, said Richard Shaheen, senior vice president of Transmission Services.

A BPA employee since 2004, Cook became the acting vice president of Engineering and Technical Services last spring, and then the acting vice president of Planning and Asset Management, the position he now assumes in a permanent role.
