Local nonprofit donates grant to Clark College culinary program

Central Park — The Wine and Food Society of Clark County funded a $1,000 grant to benefit the Clark College culinary program, which is currently in the process of a two-year renovation expected to be completed in late fall 2016.

“We are delighted to help support the community with this important educational program in their current fundraising campaign for advancing their culinary academy program,” said Susan Page, chair of the society. “Their goals to enhance their facility will provide future students the necessary tools and education toward a rewarding career in the wine and food industry.”
