To all who offer their opinions from fixed positions, whether “right” or “left,” I offer this poignant quote from Mark Twain: “It ain’t what you don’t know that gets you into trouble. It’s what you know for sure that just ain’t so.”
Open minds have the best chance of engaging in constructive dialogue, gaining knowledge, and achieving great things. Enough already of self-righteous and all-knowing Reagan- and Obama-bashing.
Set your politics or religion aside when it comes to problem-solving. If you are not reaching out constructively to be a part of the solution, you are part of the problem.
