Orchards — Members of Washington Grange No. 82 completed their barn quilt project on May 29 after placing a quilt with the “Windmill Star” design on their hall, located on Northeast Ward Road.

It’s the second Grange hall to get a barn quilt in Clark County, after Mt. Valley Grange members placed one on their hall in March. Grange No. 82’s barn quilt has a “P of H” in the center of it, standing for “Patrons of Husbandry,” a symbol of the grange and its beginnings within the farming community, according to a release from the fraternal nonprofit organization.
