SNOHOMISH — Those looking to watch little league baseball in Snohomish may find standing room only after thieves took off with the aluminum bleachers.

KOMO-TV reports that Snohomish Little League officials found that someone had taken the seats over the weekend, leaving only three dirt patches littered with peanuts and sunflower seeds in their place.

The bleacher bandits got away with one set of bleachers, but only got as far as the gate with another two they had started to dismantle.

The complex is hosting the Jr. and Big League All Star Tournament for District 1 this week.

League President Jeff Kallstrom is alerting scrap metal dealers in Snohomish to be on the lookout for their property.

Officials are still trying to determine if the disassembled bleachers are safe to use.
