Local workforce development group offers online survey

The Columbian
Published:

The Southwest Washington Workforce Development Council has launched an online survey to gather information about segments of the building trades and the construction industries that may be facing shortages of trained workers.

The survey, which takes about 10 minutes to complete, is available at www.surveymonkey.com/s/CPXXMVQ or through the workforce development council’s website, www.swwdc.org. Comments are requested by April 17.

The survey will help the council and its partners develop strategies for recruitment and training of workers in building and construction industries, as well as for aligning training programs with current industry needs. For information, contact Tracy Schreiber, workforce council employer services manager, at tschreiber@swwdc.org or 360-567-3185.
