Central Park — Students from Hudson’s Bay High School were recognized as the grand-prize winners of the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow contest, a competition that encourages teachers and students to solve issues in their community using science, technology, engineering and math for a chance to win a share of $2 million in technology.
Hudson’s Bay students were honored for using mushrooms to improve recycling efforts and reduce waste removal spending. The students took a trip to Washington, D.C., where they visited with U.S. Sen.
