Retiring Woodland school board members to be honored

A retirement party is being thrown Nov. 23 for Woodland school board members Jim Bays, Tina Cayton and Jeremy Stuart.

The three served a combined 54 years on the board — including 42 years from Bays.

The reception starts at 4:30 p.m. in the student store at Woodland High School, 1500 Dike Access Road.

The regular school board meeting will follow the reception at 5:30 p.m.
