PORTLAND — For the third consecutive year, Portland International Airport expects travel to hit an all-time record high for the holiday season. It anticipates that its busiest holiday travel days will be Nov. 29 and 30, and Dec. 23, 28 and 29. On each of those days, the airport expects approximately 56,000 travelers.

The airport is likely to serve an estimated 800,000 passengers between Dec. 17 and Jan. 1, 2016, according to the Port of Portland. For the full 2015 calendar year, PDX expects to have served more than 16.7 million passengers, breaking its 2014 record of 15.9 million passengers.
