Washougal musicians selected for honor bands

Washougal — Numerous Washougal students were accepted in honors bands.

Five Washougal High School students were selected for the Pacific Lutheran University Northwest High School Honor Band, which is made up of students from throughout Washington and Oregon: Ryan Anderson, Nick Torres, Madelyn Ault, Melina Hernandez and Jalen Watts.

Canyon Creek Middle School and Jemtegaard Middle School both had multiple students picked for the North County Middle School Honor Band.

From Canyon Creek: Maddie Wakefield, Maliyah Veale, Kelly Langston, Jennie Mariscal, Kyle Hendrickson and William Weihl were picked.

Amber Rose Walker, Emily Van Orden, Elyssa Swainston, Grace Jacobsen, Clara Harris, Rachel Lyall and Serena Morrill-Jenkins made it from Jemtegaard.
