Once again, evil has prevailed, surfacing this time at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Ore., with multiple casualties. Evil will continue to thrive as long as political correctness and corruption exists in Washington, D.C. Americans may never live to experience federal control of the social media that displays an open call for violence. It is much easier to place the blame on the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. Wake up, Americans.
The right to keep and bear arms was exceedingly precious to men who faced dangers of many kinds in their daily lives. Colonial farmers with their muskets had helped to win the Revolutionary War. On the frontier, a gun was usually the pioneer family’s only protection against wild animals and prowling Indians. The Militia Act of 1777 called for periodic musters of armed citizens. Today, Americans face the everyday presence of evil violence and must be prepared to protect themselves.
Local municipalities and state governments have a responsibility to protect their citizens and security analysis is absolutely mandatory as a first priority. Security should never be reduced or minimized because of cost. Every evil success can be attributed to a failure of security.
