Letter: Nickels’ record shows leadership

By Mitchell Grant, Battle Ground
Published: October 10, 2015, 6:00am

Mavis Nickels is the right choice for the Battle Ground Public Schools board. She has proven her ability to understand the needs of our kids. She has shown leadership in getting legislation passed that supports education, and in calling legislators together to meet with the board concerning Battle Ground schools. She is at school functions and in classrooms, always searching for ways to make things better for students and teachers. Nickels is continuously seeking input from the community, and believes the schools belong to the community. Her qualifications are outstanding, and her record as a teacher shows it. Keep Nickels on the school board.
