• Clark County Juvenile Court seeks mentors to help youth stay on task while completing community projects, as well as to help them understand the value of their work.
• Clark County Veterans Assistance Center seeks volunteers to meet and greet veterans and direct visitors, after determining the type of assistance needed. Some record keeping is required.
• Bloodworks Northwest seeks volunteers to make reminder phone calls, perform community outreach, register donors and monitor donors after they donate blood.
• Clark County Food Bank is looking for farm and garden volunteers, packers and sorters, maintenance help, and people to help with nutrition education, reception and special events.
• REACH CDC is looking for a coordinator for adult crafts, a bingo caller, exercise instructor, manicurist, organizer and a youth program facilitator.
The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office is looking for volunteers to evaluate grant proposals that will help decide which parks and trails should be funded and what farmland and wildlife habitat should be conserved in the state.
Volunteers are needed to fill vacancies on nine advisory committees. People with expertise in project design or management, landscape architecture, planning, engineering, permitting, or property acquisition especially are encouraged to apply for the four-year terms.
