Letter: Elect Coursey to Washougal council

By Harvey D. Olson, Washougal
Published: October 29, 2015, 6:00am

Dan Coursey is the best choice for Position 7 on the Washougal City Council for many reasons. His opponent, Molly Coston, was a councilor in 2011 when Mayor Sean Guard proposed a new position, aide to the city administrator. Voting “yes,” Coston stated she had reservations about this. Her vote helped allow Guard to fund that position, and reduce the police department staffing to 19 in his 2012 budget. Also, Coston voted in 2011 to keep roundabouts on state Highway 14 in the transportation plan.

Vote for Dan Coursey, he will retain conservative values.
