Dustin Johnson led the charge for King’s Way, scoring three times in the victory over Seton Catholic.

Johnson finished with 58 yards rushing, while quarterback Liam Nabors led the aerial attack with 12 completions on 24 attempts and 252 yards with two scores. On the receiving ends of the scores were Matt Garrison and Luke Hoffman.

The deep ball prevailed for the Knights, as six passes were completed of 20 yards or more.

Seton Catholic had opportunities, forcing four turnovers and finding themselves in Knights’ territory throughout the game, yet were unable to capitalize against a stingy King’s Way defense.

Sam Brouwer returned an interception 40 yards for the Knights’ final score of the evening.

Nabors was picked off twice and lost a fumble, but the suffocating defense of King’s Way never wavered, allowing the single score to Seton Catholic as Hunter Cofer pounded his way into the evening midway through the fourth quarter.

King’s Way converted on their first six attempts on third down and never punted.
