A La Center woman was killed Saturday afternoon in a head-on collision two miles south of Amboy.

Lea Ann Jennings, 44, was southbound on state Highway 503 at 1:53 p.m. when she lost control of her car, according to the Washington State Patrol report.

Her 1992 Toyota Corolla crossed the center line and collided with a car driven by Ronald Dean Bemrose, 56, of Stayton, Ore. His passenger in the northbound 1999 Ford Mustang was Sella A. Bemrose, 53, Stayton, Ore.

Sella and Ronald Bemrose both were transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Washington Medical Center; both were wearing seatbelts. They were reported in satisfactory condition Saturday.

Jennings was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the report.
