PASCO — Striking Pasco teachers are considering their next move after a judge last week ordered them to return to school Tuesday.

The Pasco Association of Educators, whose 1,160 teachers walked off the job last week, was scheduled to meet Monday night to decide whether to return to work after the holiday weekend.

Franklin County Judge Alex Ekstrom on Friday granted a preliminary injunction requested by the Pasco School District to force an end to that strike.

The Pasco School District said Monday morning it had not received confirmation that the teachers would comply with the order. It said it will make a determination in the evening about classes when there is indication of the teachers’ plan.
