Three people suffered serious injuries early Sunday morning when a car struck a tree in Camas.
Camas police were dispatched to the crash, near the intersection of Northeast Everett Street and Lake Road, at about 1:35 a.m., according to a news release from the Camas Police Department. They found that a Dodge sedan had left the roadway and hit a tree, and that the crash caused serious injuries to three people inside the vehicle, the news release said.
All three were taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, with one of them, a male, airlifted there, police said.
Police closed Northeast Lake Road to conduct their investigation, which is being aided by the Clark County Traffic Homicide Unit, the press release said.
The names of the driver and passengers in the car were not released.
