SEATTLE — Seattle police are increasing patrols after two shootings early Saturday morning left four people injured, including one person with serious injuries.
Police have not released many details. According to a short written statement on the department’s website, the first shooting happened just before 1 a.m.
The injuries occurred during the second shooting in a Seattle parking lot. Both shootings remain under investigation.
Police Chief Kathleen O’Toole directed the department to increase staffing and overtime on Saturday, and to redeploy officers from the gang, SWAT and traffic units in an effort to deter gun violence.
