NATIONAL SOCIETY OF HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARS

Shaelyn Rundell, daughter of Seth and April Rundell of Vancouver, has been accepted to the National Society of High School Scholars. She will be a senior at Hudson’s Bay High School this fall.

SPACE ACADEMY PROGRAM

Colin Martin of Vancouver recently trained for one week at the Space Academy at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center, Huntsville, Ala. The program promotes science, technology, engineering and math, while training students with hands-on activities.

OREGON CRUSADERS NATIONAL TOUR

Brianna Brown, who will be a senior at Skyview High School this fall, recently returned from a 27-city tour, competing with the Oregon Crusaders drum and bugle corps. Brianna competed with several Skyview alumni and the team placed 17th overall nationally.

NATIONAL AMERICAN MISS PAGEANT

Madison Bertrand, daughter of Zennette and Doug Bertrand, was selected as a state finalist in the National American Miss Washington Pageant.
