Letter: Check ‘facts’ about Clinton

By Thomas R. Carney, VANCOUVER
Published: August 20, 2016, 6:00am

To discover who Hillary Clinton is and what she has done, I would refer letter writer Tom Foley (“Why vote for Clinton?” Aug. 12) to the internet to do a search: “Hillary Clinton biography.” I would also like to point out that in all of the innuendo and accusations of wrongdoing by Clinton there are no convictions, fines or jail time.

Relying on outlets of rabid vigilantism for your news source is not a good source of the facts. It is easy to fact check the things you hear on the news that you agree with and those you don’t. You will be surprised by what you find and may come to realize you are being played.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
