Workshop will teach selecting edible plants

Vancouver — People interested in foraging for local plants will have an opportunity to learn about the practice at an upcoming workshop.

Eve Hanlin will lead a walk around the Columbia Springs grounds and offer an introduction to identifying the safe, easy and free food that grows in abundance within city limits.

The Intro to Urban Foraging Workshop will be 10 a.m. to noon Sept. 17 at Columbia Springs, 12208 S.E. Evergreen Highway, Vancouver.
