Letter: Evergreen leadership is failing

By Claudia Frahm, VANCOUVER

Evergreen Public Schools Superintendent John Deeder and the school board should be sent packing. After attending the board meeting regarding the budget last Tuesday, I left in disgust at their behavior and their obstinate refusal to show compassion or listen. Teachers, parents and others gave impassioned pleas for help with support for special-needs kids, curriculum, adequate money for subs and fair pay for teachers (comparable districts pay as much as $20,000 more).

We voted for these board members to act in the best interest of students and our community. What now?
