Girls basketball: La Center 58, Washougal 53, OT

Taylor Stephens scored 25 points, and Molly Edwards was clutch in overtime, helping the Wildcats to a non-league road win.

Edwards was 4 for 5 from the free throw line in the extra session.

Washougal scored first in OT, but then the Wildcats got rolling.

Stephens added six assists to go with all her points. Edwards had four steals.
Taylor Mills led La Center with 10 rebounds.

Beyonce Bea had 15 points and 15 rebounds for Washougal. Mason Oberg added 12 points. Toryi Midland had six points and nine rebounds.

Maggie Hungerford and Ashley Gibbons were credited for being sparks off the bench as Washougal rallied from an early 10-point deficit to force overtime.

Edwards finished with 21 points for La Center.
