Detectives are investigating an armed robbery at an Orchards-area Mexican restaurant that occurred Monday night.

Deputies responded to Muchas Gracias, 11500 N.E. 76th St., at about 11 p.m. for a report of a lone gunman robbing the restaurant, according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

The suspect wearing a black ski mask entered the store, displayed a black semi-automatic handgun to employees and demanded money from the cash register, the sheriff’s office said. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the store in an unknown direction.

With the assistance of a K-9 unit, deputies searched the area but did not locate the suspect.

The robbery suspect was described as a white man in his 30s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, with brown hair and blue eyes, who was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and gloves.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 360-397-2211.
