PTSD coping strategies for students discussed

Discuss strategies to help students with post-traumatic stress disorder manage coursework, academic tasks and physical space in classrooms at a free, public forum from 2 to 3 p.m. Feb. 22 in the Library Building, Room 264 at Washington State University Vancouver, 14204 N.E. Salmon Creek Ave.

Ryan “Doc” McNabb, outreach specialist with the Portland Vet Center, will present an explanation of PTSD characteristics and some best-practice strategies. Guests will be invited to share what they have found helpful or pose questions.

Parking is available at meters or in the Blue Daily Pay lot for $3.
