Hudson’s Bay got off to a hot start, but couldn’t get the defensive stops when its shooting cooled off in a loss in the 2A district tournament.

The Eagles will play Centralia in a loser-out game Tuesday at Mark Morris.

The Eagles hit four of their eight 3-pointers in the first quarter, taking a 22-1 lead.

But the Thunderbirds rallied to take the lead midway through the third quarter and never looked back.

Quadrese Teague led the Eagles with 19 points, and Quentin Raynor added 16.
