Letter: Convince Biden to reconsider run

By Donna Strain, Vancouver
Published: February 20, 2016, 6:00am

Please, Joe Biden, we need you. The country needs you. The people running for the most important office in the world are not worthy of this office.

Donald Trump for president, you got to be kidding me. This guy is an egotistical, bad-mouthing buffoon who knows nothing about running government. Closing borders so that immigrants can’t come in — how does he think he got to be here? Yes, Donald, your ancestors immigrated here from other countries.

Ted Cruz, forget it. And, yes, we’ve had enough Bushes. Hillary Clinton has had her share of public offices. (Time to retire, Hillary.)

Yes, Joe Biden, we really do need you. This country needs someone like Biden with knowledge and experience to run our government, to represent our country, someone we can all be proud of.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
