Josh Bottelberghe of Columbia River swimming was voted The Columbian’s high school winter sports athlete of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Feb. 20.

Bottelberghe collected 46 percent of the 3,937 votes cast by fans to beat out Cameron Loos of Hockinson wrestling, who had 34 percent.

Bottelberghe won the 3A 100 breaststroke state title in an All-American automatic time of 56.20 seconds.

The other nominees were Maksim Dolbinin of Heritage swimming, Ethan Rotondo of Union wrestling and Mark Kim of Camas swimming.

Nominees and the online ballot are posted at www.360preps.com each Monday and voting continues until 8 p.m. Thursday.
