Girls basketball: Union 51, Evergreen 21

Mailia Aguigui scored 16 points and Sarah Trostle had strong all-around game with 11 points, five assists, six rebounds and two steals.

“Sarah also had eight deflections,” Union coach Kelly Blankenship said. “That’s just good defense. She’s been doing that all season.”

Courtney Cranston added eight points and eight rebounds for Union (8-5, 3-3 4A GSHL). Kili Anderson had five points, four steals and six rebounds.

Makenzie Smith paced Evergreen (4-7, 1-3) with 12 points.
