Letter: Realize true intent of Islam faith

By Jim Moody, Vancouver
Published: January 15, 2016, 6:00am

With regard to the Jan. 9 story “Explaining Jesus’ role in Islam faith,” Rockhurst University Professor Mohamed Kohia’s explanation is either disingenuous or deceptive in describing the purpose of Jesus’ return as the restoration of justice.

What he neglects to say is that in the Muslim view Jesus returns to lead Muslim armies to victory over the armies of Rome, the West, in a final Apocalypse that establishes Islamic dominance over the Earth. Half-truths serve no purpose in initiating meaningful communication between Islam and the West.
