Boys basketball: La Center 53, Columbia-White Salmon 31

A fast start and a strong finish produced a 1A Trico League win for the host Wildcats. La Center never trailed after outscoring Columbia 13-4 in the first quarter.

Brody Seter scored 16 points and Jon Eastman 12 for the Wildcats (10-8, 6-4). Dalton Morgan had 13 rebounds and seven assists and Sawyer Bierscheid had made four steals.

Jabal Gilbert led Columbia (2-13, 1-8) with 10 points.
