PTO raises $20,000 for tutoring club

Fisher’s Creek — The Fisher’s Landing Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization raised $20,000 with their annual Big Top Auction and plant sale, and 100 percent of the proceeds will go to the school’s math and reading club. The clubs pay for tutors who provide extra help for students in need of additional learning time. The event features a silent auction, live auction, kids raffle and parents and staff dressed up in carnival costumes.
