Letter: Support Topper for Legislature

By Ginger Metcalf, VANCOUVER
Published: July 18, 2016, 6:00am

I support Alishia Topper for state representative, 49th District, for many reasons and encourage others to do so. I have worked with Topper and witnessed her in action … key word here, action. She is not simply someone who talks around issues but deals with issues. She bites off a chunk, chews on it, digests it and works to put solutions into action by creating partnerships with others of similar commitment. She is a candidate who grasps and appreciates the bigger picture by recognizing and embracing the many needs of our community, region and state. Your vote counts.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
