Arnada gardens theme of Aug. 5 walking tour

VANCOUVER – Trees and gardens will be the theme of the Clark County Historical Museum’s walking tour on Aug. 5.

The tour of the Arnada neighborhood will start at 6 p.m. at Arnada Park, 610 E. 25th St.

Museum tour guide Brad Richardson will be joined by former Oregon State & Washington State university master gardener Barbara Clark. They will highlight the history of the homes in the neighborhood, as well as heritage trees and contemporary gardens.

The tour will end at Cellar 55, 1812 Washington St.

Tour reservations are required; call 360-993-5679.

Cost is $7 for members and $9 for nonmembers.
