People who would like a flag for Flag Day, or who would like to exchange an old one, may pick up a new flag at Davidson & Associates Insurance, 610 Esther St., Suite 101, Vancouver.

The flags, which measure 3 feet by 5 feet, will be available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, from June 6 through June 17.

Fort Vancouver District Boy Scouts of America will perform proper flag retirement ceremonies for all old flags. Exchanged flags should be removed from poles and should be dry.

Davidson & Associates Insurance is the presenting sponsor of the Fort Vancouver National Trust’s 22nd annual Flag Day at Fort Vancouver. The ceremony will be 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, at the historic bandstand across from the Grant House, 1101 Officers Row, on the Fort Vancouver National Site.

For information about the flag exchange program, contact Davidson & Associates Insurance at 360-514-9550. For information about Flag Day events, contact the Fort Vancouver National Trust at 360-992-1804 or fortvan.org/flagday.
