SPOKANE (AP) — Spokane Community College is investigating two professors, one of whom is accused of making sexist and racist comments in class.

The Spokesman-Review reports that criminal justice professors Gary Johns and Department chairman Mike Prim did not return calls.

A complaint filed with the school’s Title IX office says the two professors attempted to discipline a student after she spoke up in Prim’s human relations class about his comments on women.

Prim taught the class about what men need from women in a relationship. According to the complaint, his slide read: “1) a woman to show up naked and 2) a woman to bring him beer.”

Shortly afterward, Prim allegedly said children are a woman’s responsibility because of “woman’s right to abortion” and claimed women act like victims when they get pregnant.
