Letter: Facility expands help for teens

Daybreak Youth Services is on the verge of opening a newly acquired 30,000-square-foot facility in Brush Prairie featuring advanced capabilities to treat up to 58 teen boys (presently 16) and adding teen girls in a secured in-patient setting, providing detox, intensive treatment, and mental health modalities.

Kudos to our Executive Director Annette Klinefelter and her great team for making this expansion of services happen. A fervent capital campaign is underway now for financing tenant improvements.

I am blessed to serve as a Life Skills Mentor for Daybreak Youth Services by sharing my son’s story to enlighten and hasten recovery for these precious kids from the ravages and consequences of substance abuse.
