Ridgefield — When Ridgefield Superintendent Nathan McCann’s Student Advisory Council was tasked with their yearly project, the group of students representing each of the district’s four schools decided to put on a carnival. Experience Ridgefield took place Sept. 24 at Ridgefield High School. The event featured local food vendors, a game truck, laser tag, athletic skills stations, arts and crafts and dance and music performances. The theme of the event was Past, Present and Future, and the carnival also honored the city’s history. The Spudder carnival also included a Mr. Potato Head contest and potato sack races.
