The 23-year-old organization announced Tuesday that nominations are open this month for a business or community leader to serve a one-year term on its board of directors.

The seat is open to anyone who shows “strong potential as a community and business leader, possesses positive character attributes,” and an ability to regularly attend board meetings.

The successful candidate would be named to a one-year appointment on the board.

Jim Mains, of the marketing firm High Five Media, currently holds the seat.
