Technology already exists to largely eliminate the use of cellphones while driving. Pre-program all cellphones (yes, even hands-free cellphones) to shut off when moving at 10 mph or 15 mph. Voila! Driving while distracted knocked down several pegs. Does the political leadership exist to accomplish this task? Care to guess?
